Gold, silver, and bronze take the stage in Creative Belgium branding
After rebranding Creative Belgium in 2016, Antwerp design studio Mirror Mirror turned their attentions to the 2017 Creative Belgium Awards. The design focuses on the object of award ceremonies: The awards themselves. Gold, Silver, and Bronze—and the effects they elicit—became the center of the brand.
Creative Belgium aims “to recognize, reward and promote the best creative work of brand communication in our country [of Belgium].” By walking the line between “braggadocios hubris and tongue-in-cheek self-mockery,” the new design communicates clearly to outsiders, while poking a little fun at the friendly nature of the competition.
